We, the people of the world community, equal in rights and living on our common planet, which we must love, take good care of and keep clean and healthy, appeal to the United States Government and the Obama-Biden Administration with our wholehearted request:

1. To stop the US military interventions in other countries;
2. To stop the US provocative policy towards Russia;
3. To stop representing Russia as a global threat;
4. To stop misinterpreting facts about Russia’s actions;
5. To stop laying claim to world supremacy;
6. To realize and admit the priority of Culture, hence,
7. To stop the destruction of the cultural heritage of the countries, wherein the US military forces have intervened.

“The US-led Western alliance that portrays itself as a champion of democracy, rule of law and human rights within individual countries, acts from a completely opposite position in the international arena, rejecting the democratic principle of the sovereign equality of states enshrined in the UN Charter and tries to decide for everyone what is good or bad. Washington has openly declared its right to the unilateral use of force anywhere to uphold its own interests. Military interference has become common, even despite the dismal outcome of the use of power that the US has carried out in recent years”, – said the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at the UN, September 27, 2014. 

It is a well established fact, every US military intervention has destabilized and destroyed every single country the US has invaded, even most Americans admit this.

“The time has come to exclude from international interaction the attempts of illegitimate pressure of some states on others. The policy of ultimatums and philosophy of supremacy and domination do not meet the requirements of the 21st century and run counter to the objective process of development for a polycentric and democratic world order”, – says Lavrov.

We call on the people of the world to make a stand for Peace. Taking into account the fact the Unites States was one of the first countries to sign the Roerich Pact in 1935, it is simply impossible for the US to continue their military interventions and proxy wars all over the globe. Briefly, the main idea of the Pact was to respect and protect the cultural heritage of the world (historic monuments, museums, scientific, artistic, educational and cultural institutions), and this respect and protection of the objects of such categories shall be accorded in time of peace and war as well. The United States was a signatory of the Pact. If we look, for instance, at the ruined condition of Baghdad and Samarra (Iraq) with their ancient buildings, the question arises: aren’t US actions in direct contravention of this Pact?

It is impossible for the world to be unipolar. No country should be a global dictator. We, the people of the world community, want our governments to develop international cooperation and peaceful existence instead of competing for global supremacy. We are and must be a Multi-Polar world. 

The Banner of Peace shall fly atop our countries. If the politicians do not understand or refuse to acquiesce to our common goal, striving for Peace, then it is we, the people, who must prevent our countries and the planet from being overrun with a devastating wave of hatred and unending wars, which can only lead to unthinkable consequences.  

When any country respects and values the culture of its own country, but neglects the culture of other countries, this promotes exceptionalism. It is essential to the future of our planet for all countries to respect the culture heritage of the world’s people.

The time has come to stop provoking wars. We all shall establish global peace and contribute to the cooperation of peoples and nations. The time has come to stop expressing national egoism and to stop demonizing other countries. We, the people, realize and admit the priority of Culture, hence, culture should be in every sphere of life in our countries. Policies, economics, education, international cooperation and so on must be cultural first. They must be based on Culture, but not on any one country’s personal or national egoism or global agendas. Egoism is the root of all disasters, for it blinds the people and they become unable to make the correct and unselfish decisions for the Common Good. The world can only evolve and develop properly when the principle of the Common Good is adhered to. And the word "common" refers not only to the people of any particular country, nation or race, but to ALL people of the entire world irrespective of their nationality, race or religion. We all are brothers and sisters, we all share the same common home – our planet, which we must love, be grateful to and preserve for future generations. 

The world is now on a dangerous precipice, and we must do our best to prevent a third world war from happening. We proclaim this to be in the vital interests of all nations and their people – and in the interest of global PEACE...
